Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be there to welcome you. Your first stop of the tour will provide an experience of fishing life on our most magnificent shores. If this is not your cup of tea, we have arranged for you to spend a relaxed day experiencing our culinary skills, whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Your adventure begins in Kandy, en route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary designed to protect Wild Asian elephants. Transitioning from a soothing experience to a spiritual atmosphere, you’ll visit the most Sacred Temple of Tooth Relic of Buddhists around the world. Adding to the day will be a mesmerizing traditional dance show also known as ‘Udarata Natum’.
Day 2 begins with a workshop and a gem museum tour in Kandy. You will also take a stroll in Kandy’s Royal Botanical Gardens, before departing to your next destination.
En route, to Nuwara Eliya, don’t miss miss the breathtaking views of Ramboda Waterfall!
After, in Nuwara Eliya, you will have the rare opportunity to witness thousands of acres of tea cultivation, which boasts stunning landscape constructions of the colonial era. You will also visit tea estates and its production lines including a tantalising tea taster session where you will indulge in the world’s most sought-after flavours of tea.
The day begins with a rousing train journey to Ella, where you will witness sceneries of ultimate tranquillity followed by a hike to the mountain of Adam’s Peak. This is a sacred place of worship for many religious communities and its mesmerising mountain and valley views have been caught in the lenses of millions worldwide. During the tour, you will be visiting the Nine Arches Bridge – an engineering and architectural legacy symbolic of colonial history.
As the day dawns, depart to the Udawalawe National Park, where you are sure to have a glimpse of elephants, leopards, and a diverse range of flora and fauna, whilst you experience a thrilling Jeep Safari! This stunning park outranks many of the African National parks when it comes to wild elephant spotting. Next, head towards Galle and explore the Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was originated from the Portuguese and completely reconstructed by the Dutch hence, named ‘Galle Dutch Fort’.
